Below are planned events for the coming few months. These take place in the Coach House, 1A Melrose Road, unless noted otherwise.

Several events and activities are open to members only: a gardening group, a bridge club and bridge tuition, wine tasting and social gatherings.  Advance notice of events is published in the Society’s Newsletter. Click here to join the Society .

Bridge is played weekly in the Coach House, Melrose Road on Monday evenings. Table money is £2 per person including beverages. Start time 7-30pm.
Bridge for beginners and improving players is played on Thursday evenings at the same time.Please contact M Forbes for details.

The John Innes Society Autumn Plant and Produce Bring and Buy Sale is at The Coach House, Melrose Road 
on Saturday 6 October from 10.30am to 12.30pm. 
Entry is free. We shall be selling compost, bulbs, autumn/winter bedding plants, perennials and shrubs, garden produce and jams and chutneys. Or join us for coffee and cakes. If you would like to pre-order compost (80L bags at 3 bags for £10 or £4 per bag), bulbs and/or autumn bedding plants, please contact Ann.
 
All contributions are welcome, so please think of the sale when you are dividing plants, collecting seed and using your fruit and vegetables to make jams and chutneys. Clearly labelled donations can be left at 21 Poplar Road in the week before the sale, or brought on the day. Merton Priory - "a new Chapter" -  A talk by John Hawks. Wednesday, 17 October at 7:30pm in the Coach House. 

Quiz Night - Saturday, 10th November at St Mary's Church Hall. Ticket information will be in the next newsletter. 

Coffee and social mornings are at 11am and are held at the Coach House on Melrose Road.  They are held on the second Wednesday of each month.  

Gardening group meetings will be on the second Friday of the month. We meet at 9am by the mulberry tree in John Innes Park.

Bingo meetings have been discontinued.
